:The other night about 9pm I was driving down a main road, right off I-95, i mean the exit was right there, and i am driving about 45mph, and i see some car with its flashers on up ahead, so i slowed down to about 40mph, and all the sudden out of NO WHERE a huge horse comes out and i slam into it, I immediatley put the truck in park and jump out, and im all worried about the truck at first, (it is my father's), so then i start thinking about the horse, and i look around and there is about 7 horses that must have got loose off a trailer, I look and see the horse on the ground kicking and making all kinds of sick noises, so i go down, and start to pet it on it head, and cover up its eyes, and it seemed to calm down a bit. Then people were driving by beeping their horns, and the horse got all scared and jumped up and started to go crazy, and it ended up falling over on its back and banging it head on the street, I mean a deer is different than a horse, i still would feel bad for hitting a deer, but i hunt somtimes, so thats different, but when i look down and see this huge beautiful horse suffering, it almost made me cry, i guess cause of the noises it was making and just cause it was a domesticated animal. Finally a State Trooper shows up and tells me he has to shoot it and put it out of its misery, So he gets out a shotgun and it was all over. I felt so bad! I mean i know there was nothing i could have done, i didn't even see any of them on the road to begin with. I talked to a trooper and he said he thinks it was a horse trailer that broke down on I-95 and the door opened up somehow and all the horses got loose. Well the other horses were fine. My dads truck is messed up pretty bad, headlights/bumper,hood,turn signals,driver's side mirror and now the cruise control won't work. For some reason the air bags didn't pop out either! I just thought i'd share this weird experience to you guys, even though it wasn't in my Z, THANK GOD, or i think i could have gotten seriously hurt too!. Due to how low the Z's hood is. I couldn't imagine what woudlv'e happend if i was in my new TT that i just got not too long ago.! its crazy tho. just thought i'd share. Later,Shawn300zTT
:Ps. The Horse did not suffer, They put him outta his misery a few minutes after i hit him.
